This escape room experience is very highly recommended! My team and I went through the Chamber of Horrors, and as my 94th escape room, I have to say this easily makes it into my top 5. The sets and atmosphere were superbly well done. The space is expansive, and part of the joy was being able to explore such a vast space full of scenic moments and really clever puzzles! As a fan of escape rooms and the horror genre, I have to say that there were even a few moments that unnerved me- a grand endorsement of how immersive the experience truly was. We joined up with a group of three other folks, and I’m sure there wasn’t a single moment when we felt unable to contribute in some meaningful way. The asymmetric nature of the game ensures that your team and their specific strengths can all be showcased without running into bottlenecks and people standing around waiting. Our game master, Alan, was a great help, making sure that some of the tricky technical aspects of the game were running and we were aware of any of the challenges we may not have picked up on intuitively. All in all- Gotham Escape Rooms is a welcome addition to the thriving escape room market in Philadelphia.

Had a fun time playing Game of Stones. Was definitely challenging to try and piece the clues together and get out of the room in 60 minutes. Great afternoon for me and my 2 friends. We made it out in 54 minutes. Will come again!

Glad to see another Escape Room company open in Philadelphia run by escape room enthusiasts! The staff is friendly and accommodating. My group did the Game of Stones room and the decor was excellent and puzzles were satisfying to solve. It feels like the people running this place really poured their heart and soul into the puzzle design. We got to discuss the room with the staff after escaping, and they seemed to have just as much fun seeing us solve the room as we did getting through the puzzles. I will definitely be back to try to conquer their other rooms when they become available.

These rooms were AMAZING. We did all three - Chamber of Horrors, Game of Stones, and Sleeping Spirits - and loved each more than the last. Chamber of Horrors was first, and was wonderfully gory and suspenseful, a must for horror movie lovers. Next up was Game of Stones, which was so much fun - we loved the theme and all of the clues and props. Last up was Sleeping Spirits, which was a super fun, creepy room (we went home and watched 1408, the story it's based on). These were some of the best, most theatrical rooms we've done, and we've done a lot (50+!) A must-do if you love rooms!
